I met a food photographer by the name of Jackie Connelly (http://www.jackieconnelly.com) today at a career fair event at UBC. Not only is she an amazing food photographer, but she also knows how to market herself. One of the questions I asked her is “how important do you think blogging is?” Her answer was simple: “Very”. So here I am again after almost a month of not having updated. These photos in particular were taken in my “Photographic Portrait” class at Langara. The model’s name is Kevin Pattee. I’ve shot with him before, and all I can say that the guys is amazing to work with. Personally I cannot pull off a smile like he can and look well. The guy could basically perform any expression I give him. The ones here are just a few. He happens to be an actor too, which I suppose helps.

(These pictures were taken with my new camera: the Canon 5D. Not the Mark II as I didn’t have over 3 grand to spend at the time. But nevertheless, I love what the 5D is capable of).
